Dear elementary DLI teachers, 

 

Below you will find the dates and locations for the winter PD 2024. The MIDAS course number for this PD offering is 63701 and is listed as 2024 Spanish DLI Winter Professional Learning.

 

Please note that this PD has specific requirements / previous preparation by the teachers before attending. This only applies to grades 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6. Please see the requirements below. 

 

K-1

  • Grade 4 only: For Science, please bring some materials that you have used to teach a Science lesson:  Some of these materials could include:

   –  A video of one of your lessons.
   – A powerpoint presentation.
   – A student-created product from one of the lessons taught. 

 

Grades 5-6

  • Grades  5 and 6: For Antología:
    – Review the Antología 2-day plan
    Watch the video to prior to coming to this PD. 
    Grade 5 only: bring the Antología book to this PD.

 

  • Grades 5 and 6: For Science, please bring some materials that you have used to teach a Science lesson, specifically of the “Engage” (“enganchar”) phase of the 5E process.  Some of these materials could include:
       –  A video of one of your lessons.
       – A powerpoint presentation.
       – A student-created product from one of the lessons taught.
